Sally Marvin, MA
Learning Support Co-ordinator
Sally became Learning Support Co-ordinator at Spurgeon’s College in May 2016, having been a volunteer in the department for the previous two years. Her main role is to support students who have learning difficulties such as dyslexia, and those for whom English is not their first language. After 13 years as an English teacher, Sally studied for an MA in Special Educational Needs and a Diploma in Specific Learning Difficulties and has been working in this area of education ever since in both the private and state sectors. In her spare time, she is Vice-Chair on the Governing Board of a Croydon primary school and co-ordinates Women’s Ministry at Purley Baptist Church where she worships.
